Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas with Cumin

Maybe you fancy chickpeas as much as I do – which is why you’ll love what’s coming next: crunchy roasted chickpeas straight from the oven that you can eat as a salad topping, in a soup or straight off the tray! All you need is a handful of ingredients as well as a hungry heart – I’m telling you, these make the perfect snack, my fellow foodies!

For the chickpeas
Ingredients
1 can chickpeas (240g), drained
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp oregano
pinch of chilli flakes
salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
Dry the chickpeas with a kitchen towel and place on a baking tray. Add the olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, chili flakes, salt and pepper.
Give everything a good stir and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes or tuntil the chickpeas get golden and crunchy.
Serve them in a salad, as a soup topping or in a little bowl for you and your fellow foodies to snack!
