On pasta, sandwiches, soups, stews, the list goes on! I could even see this on a steaming bowl of savoury miso porridge, there really are no limits. You want a jar of this tasty crunch? Go get your pan!
For this Topping
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp pine nuts
1 tbsp fried onions (store-bought Rรถstzwiebeln)
generous pinch of salt
Instructions
To prepare the pangrattato, heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add in the other ingredients. Toast everything for 2 - 3 minutes on medium high heat until the breadcrumbs and pine get a bit of colour on them, then take off the heat and transfer to a small bowl.
How to consume: sprinkle over absolutely EVERYTHING!
