Easy Creme Cheese Frosting

a tasty coat for cake & other things

For the creme cheese frosting

600g full fat creme cheese

60ml maple syrup

fresh vanilla

zest of 1 organic lemon or orange

pinch of salt

If you want, you can add nut butter, cinnamon or any other flavourings that you need for this frosting!

Instructions

1. For the frosting, beat cream cheese, maple syrup, citrus zest, vanilla and salt in a bowl until creamy, then cover and place in the refrigerator. Whatever you’ll spread this onto, you can either use a piping bag, spatula or simply a spoon and if any of it lands on your fingers, just lick ‘em!
