Cinnamon and plums, cinnamon and plums

This dish (whether as breakfast or dessert) is super straight forward and probably one of the simplest dishes you can impress with. Plums are so juicy and tart – just perfect in combination with crunchy pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and a dollop of coconut yoghurt.

For this dish

 

Ingredients

3 plums, halved

1 tbsp maple syrup

½ tsp cinnamon

serve with

drizzle of maple syrup

½ cup coconut yoghurt

⅓ cup pumpkin seeds, toasted

sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC on fan mode. 

  2. Place the plum halves on a baking tray with the flesh facing up. Drizzle with maple syrup and cinnamon and roast for 30 minutes. 

  3. To serve, spread some yoghurt on a plate, place the plums next to it and top with toasted pumpkin seeds, a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
